Jasper Eugene "Gene" Taylor

Chester, SC ; Jasper Eugene "Gene" Taylor, 61, died Friday, May 27, 2022 at Piedmont Medical Center. The family will have a private gathering at a later date. Gene was born in Rock Hill, SC on October 1, 1960 and was a son of the late Benjamin Franklin Taylor and Geneva White Taylor. He attended the schools of Chester County and was an employee of the Rock Hill School District. Gene was an accomplished musician who loved to play his guitar and sing. He also enjoyed fishing. He is survived by his daughter, Daisy White of Chester, SC; his brothers, Sammy White of Chester, SC, Don Taylor (Frances) of Rock Hill, SC and Richard Taylor of Chester, SC and a number of nieces and nephews.
