Janis Elkins Marshall

CHESTER, SC: Mrs. Janis Elkins Marshall, 77, died Saturday, September 15, 2018 at Helms Gordon Residential Care in Fort Lawn, SC. A Celebration of Life will be held at the home of her daughter, Daphne Bagwell, 522 MacFarlane Drive, Chester, SC, on Sunday, September 30, 2018 from 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM. Born March 1, 1941 in Chester, SC, Mrs. Marshall was the daughter of the late Rufus and Annie Mae Stroud Elkins. She was a graduate of Chester High School and Cosmetology School and was retired as apartment manager of Chester Homes. She was a member of Second Baptist Church. Mrs. Marshall was preceded in death by her husband of thirty-nine years Howard Lee Marshall. She was survived by one daughter, Daphne Bagwell (Bobby) of Chester, SC; two grandchildren, Benjamin Lee Bagwell of Chester, SC and Tyler Nicole Bagwell of Rock Hill, SC; one brother, Earl Elkins (Susan) of Chester, SC and three nieces and one nephew.
