Janice Breaux Moore

Mrs. Janice Breaux Moore, 90, died Thursday, January 26, 2023 at White Oak Manor in Rock Hill, SC. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM, Monday January 30, 2023 at St Joseph Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Chester Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at Barron Funeral Home. Mrs. Moore was born October 22, 1932 in New Orleans, LA and was a daughter of the late Edward Luke Breaux and Selma Boudreaux Breaux. She was a graduate of Sacred Heart High School and Winthrop College. Mrs. Moore was a homemaker and was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. She is survived by three children, Maureen Moore of Chester, SC, Edward Moore (Blair) of Rock Hill, SC and Dennis Moore of Chester, SC; five grandchildren, Alyson McWaters (Jonathan) of Charlotte, NC, Carley Blackwell of Indian Land, SC, O’Connor Moore of Rock Hill, SC, Anna Moore and Alex Moore both of Chester, SC; one great-grandson, Sylus Havrilla. one sister, Janet Sorgensen of Granite Falls, SC. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of over 55 years , Charles O’Connor Moore; daughter, Melissa Moore Blackwell; granddaughter, Courtney Blackwell and her sister, Delores Breaux Poche.
