Sandy Ridge, NC Mrs. Janice Boulware Gregory, 56, died Thursday, June 23, 2011 at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem, NC.The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, June 27, 2011 at West Chester Baptist Church in Chester, SC with Rev. Melvin Shelton and Rev. Jeff Gulish officiating.Interment will follow at ChesterMemorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Sunday, June 26, 2011 at Barron Funeral Home, 133 Wylie St., Chester, SC and other times at the home of Betty Jean Boulware, 537 Carolina Ave., Chester, SC. A separate visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Tuesday, June 28, 2011 at the home of Robert and Katie Burr, 4405 Stafford Glen Court, Oak Ridge, NC 27310. Mrs. Gregory was born July 21, 1954 in Chester, SC and was a daughter of Betty Jean Boulware and the late Frank L. Boulware.A graduate of Chester High School and Columbia Commercial College, she was a teacher assistant at Pinnacle Elementary School and a member of Oak Ridge Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, Joe Gregory; one daughter, Jolie Gregory of Winston-Salem; one granddaughter, Kippy; two sisters, Judy Williford and husband Bryan of Augusta, Ga. And Jean Boulware Neal of Lancaster, SC.She was preceded in death by a brother, Roger Boulware.
