Blackstock. Mrs. Janet ?Jan? Vincent Kinard, 52, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday, February 12, 2011 at Chester Regional Medical Center. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, February 15, 2011 at Blackstock First Baptist Church with the Reverend Dennis Willoughby officiating. Interment will be held in the Blackstock First Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Monday, February 14, 2011 at Barron Funeral Home. Born April 7, 1958 in Kershaw, SC, Mrs. Kinard was the daughter of John and Edith Threatt Vincent. She was a graduate of Chester Senior High School and a member of Blackstock First Baptist Church. She retired from Chester County Hosptial Emergency Room as a Licensed Practical Nurse. Jan had an incredible faith in the Lord and despite her own health and physical afflictions, always exhibited herself in a giving, compassionate and selfless way. Her concern for others always came first. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, Pete Kinard; Amber Martinez and husband Wlifredo, and their daughter Arelia, of Charlotte and Robin Evans of Columbia. Amber and Robin were like daughters to Jan. One brother, Johnny Vincent of Riegelwood, NC and a nephew Jonathan Vincent also of Riegelwood, NC.
