Richburg, Mrs. Jane Elizabeth Ford Janyssek, 86, formerly of Charlotte, NC, died Saturday, December 20, 2008 at Chester Regional Medical Center, Chester, SC. A memorial service will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, December 23, 2008 at St. Josephs Catholic Church with Father William Pentis officiating.Interment will be private. Born in Chester, SC on August 14, 1922, Mrs. Janyssek was the daughter of the late John Asbury Ford, Sr and Lucinda Chambers Ford.She was a graduate of Chester High School and a homemaker.She was a member of St. Josephs Catholic Church and The Women of St. Josephs and the Springs Golden Age Club. Surviving are three daughters, Sally Hair of DeLand, Florida, Mary Jane Coleman and her husband Bill of Reisterstown, Maryland and Frances Kirkman and her husband Keith of Rock Hill, SC; one son, Thomas F. Janyssek and his wife Lynne of New Bern, NC; one brother, Buddy Ford and his wife Becky of Chester, SC; thirteen grandchildren and five great granddaughters.She was preceded in death by her husband Alphonse "Al" Frank Janyssek and three brothers, William, Jack and Sonny Ford. The family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 pm Monday evening at Barron Funeral Home, 133 Wylie Street, Chester and in the social hall of the church immediately following the service.
