Chester Mr. James Donald Watson, 90, died Sunday, October 19, 2014, at Chester Regional Nursing Center.A graveside service will be held at 4:00 PM on Wednesday, October 22, 2014, at Zion Cemetery in Lowrys, SC with Rev. Steve Oates officiating.The family will receive friends at the graveside immediately following the service. Born April 19, 1924 in Carlisle, Indiana, Mr. Watson was a son of the late Benson Watson and Hulda Schuckman Watson-Hume.He was a graduate of Freelandville High School and attended Purdue University for a short time.He was a farmer from the age of 12 and a member of the Masonic Lodge. Mr. Watson is survived by two sons, Gary Watson (June) of Chester and Bruce Watson (Lynne) of Switz, Ind.; two daughters, Kathy Watson of Morganton, NC and Brenda Weiler of Hickory, NC; eight grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.He was preceded in death by his wife, Anna Ruth Myers Watson and a grandson, Travis Weiler.
