Mr. James R. ?Jack? Warmoth, Jr., 86, of Chester died Wednesday, October 29, 2008 at his residence. A memorialwill be held 1:00 Monday at Barron Funeral Home, with Rev. Bobby Warmoth officiating.Burial will be private at Evergreen Cemetery. Born January 1, 1922 in Chester, SC, Mr. Warmoth was a son of James Richard Warmoth, Sr. and Fannie Bell Campbell Warmoth.He attended schools of Chester County and was retired U.S. Air Force having served during WWII in the Pacific Theater, Korean War and Vietnam.He also served in the US Army and US Marines.He was former owner and operator of a local sign company in Chester and a member of Chester Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church. He is survived by two sons, Thomas Warmoth of Henderson, Nevada and Gary Warmoth of California; four sisters, Frances Lorene Dabney of Chester, SC, Juanita Robinson of Rock Hill, SC, Peggy Lucille Propst of Concord, NC, Margie Virginia Wilson of Ft. Myers, Florida; two brothers, Edward Louis Warmoth, Sr. of Sumter, SC and Bobby Gene Warmoth of Summerville, SC.He was preceded in death by a brother Joseph Hennis Warmoth, two sisters, Barbara Ann Greene and Betty Lois Boone.
