Chester Mr. James "Buddy" Wesley Laws, Jr., 51, died Friday, September, 2, 2022. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, September 8, 2022 at Barron Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Bishop officiating. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends from 1;00 PM to 2:00 PM, Thursday, September 8, 2022 at Barron Funeral Home, Mr. Laws was born May 2, 1971 in Chester, SC and was a son of Audrey Bowers Ashley and the late James Wesley Laws, Sr. He attended Chester High School and was employed with Kip Construction as a pipe layer. Buddy was extremely talented as far as working with his hands, such as building , brick laying, home construction and other work. He loved what he did and was committed to his wife and son. Mr. Laws attended Saluda Street Church of God. In addition to his mother, Audrey Bowers Ashley, he is survived by his wife of over seventeen years, Jennifer White Laws; two sons, Jonathan Laws and Andrew White of Chester, SC; one daughter, Brittany Laws of Salisbury, NC; two grandchildren, Abigail Laws and Jade Hood; three sisters, Tracy Roof (Donald) of Blackstock, SC, Jackie Roof (Danny) of Chester, SC and Jodie Locklear (Wayne) of Salisbury, NC; father-in-law, Sammy White, Lowry's; Sister-in-law, Selena White of Chester, SC and brothers-in-law, Eugene White and Sambo White both of Chester, SC; special niece; Hannah Doster White, Chester, SC and numerous aunts uncles and nieces and nephews.
