Blackstock Mr. James Michael Hunter, Sr. , 63, diedWednesday, May 9, 2018 at his home.Graveside services will be held at 11: 00 AM Saturday, May 12, at Cornwell Presbyterian Church Cemetery with Rev. Eric Partain officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to8:00 PM on Friday at Barron Funeral Home. Mr. Hunter was born June 14, 1954 in Monroe, NC and was a son of Annie Ray Miller Hough and the late Jimmy Harris Hunter. He was a graduate of the schools of Lancaster SC, and retired from Fairfield Memorial Hospital. Mike was a paramedic for many years and a carpenter. He was a member ofAntioch Baptist Church in Lancaster SC. In addition to his mother he is survived by his wife of over 40 years, Lynda Skinner Hunter; one daughter, Nikki Hunter Revels (Jay)of Lancaster ; three sons, Michael Hunter Jr. (Tonya) , Richard Hunter ( Amanda), Matthew Hunter, all of Blackstock; seven grandchildren, Jaycie, Jacob, Hayley, Natalie, Kade, Kason, and Keegan; two brothers, Donnie Hunter (Amanda) of Tennessee , AlanAldridge (Stacey) of Lancaster; one sister, Angie Johnson of Lancaster; and numerousnieces and nephews.
