James Gilbert Hill

Great Falls, SC Mr. James Gilbert Hill, 81, died Friday, July 12, 2019 at his home. A graveside service will be held 10:00 AM Friday, August 2, 2019 at Chester Memorial Gardens with Mr. Gene Gaston officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the graveside. Born November 21, 1937 in Chester County, SC, Mr. Hill was the son of the late Thomas A. and Bertha Bell Hill. Mr. Hill was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force having served during the Vietnam War. He was a retired welder. Mr. Hill was the widower of Becky Greer Hill. He is survived by three sons Reuben James Hill of Beaverton, Oregon, Jeffery Thomas Hill of Waco, TX and James Hill of Killeen, TX; one daughter, Patricia Ann Luepkes of Madison, GA; grandson, Logan Hill of Beaverton, Oregon; two sisters, Gail Swicegood of W.
