James Hicklin Mobley

Chester James Hicklin Mobley, Jr., 90, of 731 Lancaster Highway passed away Saturday, June 4, 2016 at the Dorn VA Medical Center in Columbia. A native of Chester Co, he was the son of the late James Hicklin Mobley. Sr and the late Lena Mae Doster Mobley. He was a WW II Navy Veteran, retired from Rock Hill Printing & Finishing and Zenith Engraving. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his first wife Ruby Mae Wilson Mobley, second wife Evelyn Grace Lyle Clack Mobley and a step-son Tommy Reid Clack. Surviving are wife and caregiver Betty McManus Mobley; children James Hicklin Mobley III (Sara Ann) of Chester, Renes Dean Mobley (Pam)of Chester, Yvonne G. Mobley of Chester, Donald Steven Mobley (Frances) of Sharon and Donna Carolyn Mobley Mariduena of Chester, Step- daughters Mary Wolfe (Gene) of Matthews, N.C. and Lynn Clack; numerous grand-children, great grand-children, nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held 11:00 A.M. Wednesday at Zion Presbyterian Church cemetery in Lowry’s with Rev. David Sealy officiating, followed by Military Honors. The family will receive friends Tuesday 6:00PM to 8:00PM at Barron Funeral Home.
