James Bryant Boyd

Chester Mr. James Bryant Boyd, 49, died Tuesday April 23, 2019 at his home. A memorial service will be held 3:00 PM Friday April 26 2019 at Ember Church, 1841 J. A. Cochran Bypass, Chester, SC 29706 with Rev. Kevin Taylor officiating. He was born September 14, 1969 in Cincinnati, OH and was a son of the late Donald Boyd and Wilma Turner Boyd. Mr. Boyd was a graduate of Norwood High School in Cincinnati, OH. He was a truck driver and a member of Ember Church in Chester, SC. Mr. Boyd is survived by one brother; Timothy McCormick, of Lexington, SC; four sisters, Starla Curry of VA, Becky McDonald, of KY, Pam Houser, of Ohio and Reba Privetta of Richburg, SC; several nieces and nephews .He was preceded in death by one brother David Donald Boyd.
