James Marion "Jimmy" Boulware

CHESTER, SC: Mr. James Marion “Jimmy” Boulware, 68, died Monday, February 13, 2017 at the Greenville Memorial Hospital in Greenville, SC.The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM Tuesday, February 14, 2017 at Barron Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held 1:00 PM Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at Barron Funeral Home, with Bishop David Levister officiating.The interment will be private. Born February 3, 1949 in Chester, SC, Mr. Boulware was a son of the late Clarence Marion Boulware and Edith Miller Boulware.He attended the schools of Chester County and was retired from Food Lion as a butcher, and also worked with Walmart and Carolina Tank.He was a veteran of the US Army having served during Vietnam.He attended Word and Spirit Church.Jimmy loved his grandchildren, camping and racing. He is survived by his wife of over eighteen years, Kimberly Smith Boulware; one daughter, Amber Boulware Thompson (Jason) of Laurens, SC; step-daughter, Brandee Smith Varnadore (Jef) of Chester; four grandchildren, Taylor Smith, Meredith Thompson, Logan Thompson and Emma Rae Varnadore; three brothers, Eddie Boulware of Union, SC; Blane Boulware (Glennie) of Chester and Ivy Boulware (Tammy) of Chester; one sister, Ann DeLancey (Wayne) of Chester and numerous nieces and nephews.
