Jacquelyn Jacobs Schulte Levister

Jacquelyn "Jac Jac" Schulte Levister, 68, of Chester, South Carolina, passed away peacefully in her sleep on February 15, 2025. Her husband of 34 years, Jeffery Scott Levister, was with her when she passed. The family will receive family and friends Thursday, February 20, 2025 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Barron Funeral Home. Born on January 3, 1957, Jacqui was a devoted textile worker until an early retirement in 2009. While she always had something to do between her love of art and gardening, her greatest passion in life was her son, Alan Lawrence Schulte, II. If there was ever a manual written about how to love your child so deeply, Jacqui was surely its author. Her maternal love was so immense, it could not be contained to just one person, and Alan said he never felt jealous sharing his mom with others. Jacqui had an extended family across the country, especially her "kids" in central Florida. Through them, Jacqui had a rich network of nieces, nephews, grandchildren, grand-pets and family friends, frequently reminding them how much she loves all of them hard on social media. She was the human embodiment of perseverance, ingenuity and love, and the world glows a bit dimmer without her on it. Jacqueline is preceded in death by Annie Bell Lathrop, her grandmother; Jack Virgil Jacobs, her father; and Rondal Keith Jacobs, her brother. She is survived by Jeffery Scott Levister, her husband; Clara Lathrop Jacobs, her mother; Jeanna Jacobs Laws, her sister; Todd William Jacobs, her brother; Warren Sain Underwood, her godson; her son, Alan Lawrence Schulte, II; her grandchildren, Jaylen Trent Wishert and Bella Danyelle Wishert and every single person whose heart was held by her.
