Ida Wishert Keenan

CHESTER, SC: Mrs. Ida Wishert Keenan, 91, died Saturday, April 6, 2019 at her home.A memorial service will be held 4:00 PM Wednesday, April 10, 2019 at Barron Funeral Home with Reverend Mike Black officiating.The interment will be private.The family will receive friends from 3:30 PM to 4:00 PM Wednesday, April 10, 2019 at Barron Funeral Home. Born April 2, 1928 in Chester County, SC, Mrs. Keenan was a daughter of the late Oriel Meadow Wishert and Ida Woods Wishert.She attended the schools of Monticello and was retired from Springs Industries. Mrs. Keenan also worked with the Department of Social Services and Lewisville After School Program. She was a member of Leeds Baptist Church. She is survived by one daughter, Gail S. Roof (Donnie) of Chester, SC; daughter-In-Law, Leah Stevenson of Chester;four grandchildren, Scott Roof and Kyle Roof of Chester, Erin Stockman of Troy, SC and Kelly Lashley of Chester; nine great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her two husbands Julian Bryant Stevenson and Paul Wylie Keenan, a son, Dale Bryant Stevenson and a grandson Cullen Stevenson.The family would like to thank her precious caregivers Janice Wade and Nancy Ford.
