Chester Mrs. Helen Youngblood McCorkle, 85 of Chester died Sunday, March 7, 2010 at Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill. The funeral service will be 3:00 PM Tuesday, March 9, 2010 at Orrs Baptist Church with Reverend Randall Runion officiating.Interment will be in Lando Cemetery.The family will receive friends from 2:00 ? 3:00 Tuesday at Orrs Baptist Church, 1266 Lancaster Highway, Chester. Born July 24, 1924 in Chester, SC, Mrs. McCorkle was a daugther of the late Andrew and Edna Wint Youngblood.She was the widow of Robert Lee McCorkle. She is survived by one son, Keith McCorkle and his fiance Sarah Cholewinski ofRock Hill; one daughter, Linda McCorkle Stewart and her husband Larry of Chester; six grandchildren, Zack McCorkle, Brian Stewart, Jeff Stewart, Casie Stewart Cate, Wayne McCorkle and Robbie McCorkle; six great grandchildren; two brothers, Derrell Youngblood of Sanford, NC and Norman Youngblood of Chester; two sisters, Arnice McWatters of Chester and Margie Banks of Chester; sister-in-law, Henrietta Hefner of Lando, SC; daughter-in-law, Cindy McCorkle of Rock Hill, SC.She was preceded in death by a son Ronnie McCorkle, two sisters, Donna Friday and Anette Cission and one brother, Tommy Youngblood.
