Helen Rockholt Green

Ms. Helen went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, October 20, 2016, where she was greeted by her beloved husband “Jim” of over 50 years.Funeral services will be held at 4:30 PM on Sunday, October 23, at Armenia United Methodist Church with Rev. Eric Shepard officiating.Interment will follow in the church cemetery.The family will receive friends from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM on Sunday in the church fellowship hall. Helen Doris Rockholt Green was born January 17, 1933 in York, SC and was the daughter of the late Hosia and Emma Rockholt.She was retired from Springs Mills and worked many years part-time at The Country Corner in Chester.Ms. Helen’s cooking put many smiles on the faces of her family and friends.She was a member of Armenia United Methodist Church where she dearly loved her church family. Ms. Helen is survived by two sons, Jimmie Dever Green and wife Teresa and Mark Green and wife Terry; three grandchildren, Jacquelyn and Brandon Green and Jeremy Helms and wife Catherine; one great-grandchild, Elijah Cole Helms; one brother, David Rockholt; and two sisters, Nettie Daves and Betty Bass.She was preceded in death by seven brothers and sisters.
