Helen Flenniken CHESTER:Mrs. Helen Varnadore Matthews Flenniken, 89, of 628 Lancaster Highway, Apt. 231, died Monday October 13, 2008 at Chester Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be 4:00 p.m. Thursday at Barron Funeral Chapel.Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery. Mrs. Flenniken was born December 15, 1918 in Richburg, SC, a daughter of the late John Wesley and Martha Virginia McGarity Varnadore.She attended the schools of Chester County and was a homemaker.Mrs. Flenniken was a member of Parkway Baptist Church. She was the last surviving member of her family. Visitation will be from 3:00 until 3:45 Thursday at Barron Funeral Home, 133 Wylie Street, Chester.
