Hazel Beatrice Jordan Norman

Chester Mrs. Hazel Beatrice Jordan Norman, 92, died Wednesday, June 17, 2020 at the Wayne T. Patrick Hospice House in Rock Hill, SC. A private graveside service will be held. Mrs. Norman was born December 6, 1927 in Chester County, SC and was a daughter of the late George Gill Jordan and Ruth Dereberry Jordan. She was a graduate of Chester High School and was retired from Springs Industries having worked at the Grace Bleachery.Mrs. Norman was a member of Saluda Street Church of God and was a dedicated and faithful servant supporting the ministry of the church. She is survived by one sister, Elizabeth “Betty” Rice of Chester, SC; one niece, Carla Roof of Chester, SC; two nephews, Mark Rice of York, SC and Darrell Greenwood of Chester, SC all of whom Hazel loved as her own children. She was preceded in death by brothers, Bill and Buck Jordan; sisters, Barbara Greenwood and Helen Roof; and Billy Ross Green who was raised in the family home.
