CLOVER, SC Mrs. Hazel Lurita Cochran Estes, 74, of 208 Poplar Street, died Friday, January 1, 2010 at her residence. The funeral will be 2:00 PM Monday at Together As One with Reverend Ronnie Green officiating.Interment will be in Chester Memorial Gardens. Born June 14, 1935 in Grassy Branch, NC, she was a daughter Eva Collins Cochran of Clover and the late Clint Cochran. She attended schools in Sharon, SC. In addition to her mother, she is survived by three daughters, Valarie Whitenerand Vonnie Massey both of Clover, and Vickie Merritt of York, SC; two sons, George Larsen of Clover, and Michael Estes of Chester; six grandchildren; three great grandchildren; one brother, Richard L. Cochran of Columbia, SC.She is preceded in death by two brothers Robert and Glenn Cochran.She was the widow of Olin Estes.
