Chester Harry Kilgo Morgan, Sr., 76, died Wednesday, May 11, 2022, at his home.A private Celebration of Life will be held by the family.The family will receive friends anytime at the home of Hap and Margaret Morgan. Mr. Morgan was born March 12, 1946 in Great Falls, SC and was a son of the late Chester Morgan and Mildred Kilgo Morgan.He was a graduate of Great Falls High School and attended USC.He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and retired from Duke Energy as a heavy equipment operator.He was a Mason.‘Hoot” was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing.He loved his grandchildren and enjoyed attending their ball games. He is survived by one son, Harry K. “Hap” Morgan (Margaret) of Chester; two grandchildren, Layla Morgan and Cranford Morgan both of Chester; and two brothers, Ronnie Morgan of Great Falls and Donnie Morgan of Winnsboro.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his ex-wife, Phyllis Morgan.
