Tega Cay Mr. Harold Lynn Hudson, Sr., 88, died Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at Wellmore of Tega Cay, SC.A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, April 22, 2017 at Chester Memorial Gardens with Rev. Eric Shepard and Rev. Steve Shugart officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the graveside. Born November 14, 1928 in Chester, SC, he was a son of the late James Lynn Hudson and Ida Grant Hudson and the widower of Margaret Childress Hudson.Mr. Hudson was a graduate of Chester High School and retired from Springs Industries’ Grace Bleachery in Lancaster, SC.He was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church, Chester Masonic Lodge #18 and Hejaz Shrine. Mr. Hudson is survived by one son, Harold Lynn Hudson, Jr. of Ridgeway, SC; one sister, Joyce H. Thompson of Chester, SC; and several nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by a brother, Grier Hudson. Memorials may be made in lieu of flowers to Bethel U. M. C., P. O.
