CHESTER Mrs. Gretta Biddix Bell, 70, died Monday, February 18, 2013 at Palmetto Health Richland in Columbia, SC.The funeral service will be 3:00 Thursday, February 21, 2013 at Barron Funeral Home with Rev. Don Etters officiating.The interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery.The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 pm Wednesday at Barron Funeral Home. Born March 12, 1942 in Gastonia, NC, Mrs. Bell was the daughter of the late Chestley and Geneva Bond Biddix.She was a graduate of York High School and attended York Technical College.She was retired fromSprings Industries and also Schlegel Corporation.She was a member of New Life Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband of over fifty years Charles W. Bell, Jr.; two sons, Wayne Bell and his wife Teresa and Mike Bell all of Chester; four grandchildren, Michael Bell, Cole Bell, Jeff Bell and Justin Bell.She was preceded in death by an infant daughter Diane.
