Blackstock, SC Mrs. Gladys Elaine Bigham Nation, 72, died Friday, February 20, 2015 at Providence Hospital in Columbia, SC.The funeral service will be 2:00 PM Monday, February 23, 2015 at Barron Funeral Home with Rev. Wayne Pruitt officiating.The interment will be in Chester Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 4:00 – 5:30 PM Sunday, February 22, 2015 at Barron Funeral Home Born May 2, 1942 in Chester, SC, Mrs. Nation was the daughter of the late Leroy and Erline Gwin Bigham.She was a graduate of Chester High School and retired from Sequa Chemical Company and also later worked with Kanawha Insurance Company.She was a member of Old Catholic-Presbyterian Church. She is survived by one son, Harold Wayne Jordan, Jr. and his wife Lynn of Fort Mill, SC; one daughter, Charlene Jordan of Pensacola, FL; one step-son, Michael Nation of Spartanburg, SC; one step-daughter, Ann Flynn of Spartanburg, SC; four grandchildren, Tori Jordan, Sam Smith, Haley Jordan, and Peyton Diefenderfer; four step-grandchildren, Carmen Davis, Megan Flynn, Adam Nation and Ben Nation and three great grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her husband Wayne Nation, two brothers, Thomas Leroy Bigham, Jr. and Harley Earl Bigham.
