Mrs. Gladys Bland Love, 76 of 1534 Columbia Road, died Saturday, March 14, 2009 at the Chester Regional Medical Center. The funeral will be 4:00 PM Tuesday at the First Church of the Nazarene with Rev. John Porter officiating.Interment will be in Chester Memorial Gardens. Born April 26, 1932 in Fort Mill, SC, Mrs. Love was a daughter of the late Leon W. and Ella Gulledge Bland.She attended the schools of Chester County and was retired from Springs Industries after forty-seven years of service.She was a member of First Church of the Nazarene where she was a former Sunday School Teacher, choir member, Missions Director and current Director of Young at Heart. Surviving are one son, Dennis Love of Chester; one sister, Doris Sealy of Braselton, GA; one brother, Clarence Bland of Chester, SC; two granddaughters, Suzanne Dove of North Augusta, SC and Brittany Love of Greeenville, SC and five great grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her husband Robert A. ?Bobby? Love and a son Robert Alan ?Robin? Love. The family will receive friends from 6:00 ? 8:00 pm Monday at Barron Funeral Home, 133 Wylie Street, Chester, SC 29706.
