Geraldine Sellers Tucker

Mrs. Geraldine Sellers Tucker, 86, died Wednesday, October 23, 2024 at her home. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, October 26, 2024 at Blackstock First Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Steve Bishop officiating. The family will receive friends at the graveside immediately following the service.

Mrs. Tucker was born May 4, 1938 in Chesterfield, SC and was the daughter of the late Laland Sellers and Julia Lowery Sellers. She was a graduate of Ruby High School and was a retired bookkeeper from Gwin Automotive. Geraldine loved being outside gardening, doing yardwork or working in her shop with her crafts. She was a member of Blackstock First Baptist Church where she sang in the choir and was involved in the children’s ministry and many other activities of the church.

She is survived by her grandson, Elijah P. Tucker (Bailey) of Chester, SC; one granddaughter, Heather Means (Jeff) of York, SC; five great-grandchildren, Seven Means, Veda Means, Bristol Means, Lynna Tucker and Jett Means; one brother, Tommy Sellers (Mary Martha) of Pawley’s Island, SC and her daughter-in law, Lisa Kanipe(Ronnie) of Blackstock, SC. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of over 67 years, Charles J. Tucker one daughter, Donna T. Roof and her son Jerry Lynn Tucker.
