George Lonnie Faust

George Lonnie Faust, 78, died Friday, March 28, 2025, at his home.  No services are planned at this time.  The family will receive friends anytime at the home.

Born June 18, 1946, Lonnie was a son of the late Hilton Glenn Faust, Jr. and Grace Love Faust.  He was a graduate of Chester High School.  Lonnie was a retired farmer and long distance truck driver.  He was a member of Cornwell Presbyterian Church where he formerly served as a deacon.  Lonnie was an avid hunter and loved his dogs and their puppies.

He is survived by his wife of over 59 years, Judy Wilburn Faust; two children, Betsy Sloan and Amy Laws (David) both of Chester; five grandchildren, whom he helped raise, Robert Sloan (Holly), Ryan Laws (Haley), Adam Laws, Julianne Sloan (Jarrett) all of Chester and Grace Laws (Isaiah) of Lenoir City, TN; five great grandchildren, Holden Moser, Maci Sloan, Luke Sloan, Kyler Laws and Lamont'e Johnson.  In addition to his parents, Lonnie was preceded in death by a son, Robert Faust.
