Chester Mr. Gary Lloyd Porter, 63, died Saturday, November 11, 2017, at Chester Regional Medical Center.A memorial service will be held at 4:00 PM Tuesday, November 14, at Barron Funeral Home with Rev. David Sealy officiating.Interment will be private. Mr. Porter was born July 16, 1954 in Chester, SC and was a son of the late James Vernon Porter and Barbara Jean Simmons Porter.He was a graduate of Chester High School and was formerly employed with Springs Industries. He is survived by two daughters, Jennifer Miller Fling (Charles) of Fort Mill and Bailey Marie Mobley of Chester; three grandchildren, Wyatt Miller Fling and Georgia Kathryn Fling of Fort Mill and Elijah Ryder Mobley of Chester; and one brother, Scott Porter of Calhoun Falls, SC.Mr. Porter was preceded in death by a brother, Michael Porter.
