CHESTER ? Mr. Gary Allen Mathis, 48, died, Wednesday, March 16, 2011 at his home.The funeral services will be private in Maryland. Born June 28, 1962 in Baltimore, Maryland, Mr. Mathis was a son of the late Elton and Elsie Geneva Greene Mathis.He attended the schools of Maryland and was a maintenance mechanic.He was a loving father, grandfather and husband. He is survived by his wife, Deloris Holcomb Mathis; two sons, Gary Mathis, Jr. of York, PA and James Mathis of Hanover, PA; one daughter, Kelly Mathis of Dover, PA; three granddaughters, Lexi, Meghan, Kaitlin; one brother, Larry Mathis of Hendersonville, NC; four sisters, Dottie Mansfield of Westminster, Maryland, Margie Ziegler of Jonesville, SC, Wanda Greene of Chester, SC and Linda Livesay of Manchester, MD.
