Chester Mr. Gary Charles Hinman, 71, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 30, 2014, surrounded by his family.A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PMMonday, November 3, 2014, at Barron Funeral Home with Rev. Ronnie Greene officiating.Interment will be private. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Monday, November 3, at Barron Funeral Home, 133 Wylie St., Chester, SC. Mr. Hinman was born July 12, 1943 in Binghamton, NY and was a son of the late Charles Henry Hinman and Kathryn Harrington Hinman.He was a graduate of Chenango Valley High School and Broome Technical Community College and was a retired civil engineer technician having worked with several construction companies.Mr. Hinman attended the Community Church of Chester. Surviving is his wife of over 48 years, Elaine Spears Hinman; two daughters, Pamela E. Haynes (Tracey) of Cartersville, GA. and Lynette N. Hinman of Charlotte, NC; one son, Kevin G. Hinman of Chester; three grandchildren, Matthew, Ashley, and Joseph; two great-grandchildren, Carson and Kylie all of Cartersville, GA; two sisters, Candy Salansky (Bill) of Hallstead, PA. and Laurie Malachak (Bill) of Binghamton, NY; and numerous nieces and nephews.
