Chester Mr. Furman Junior Lindsey, 81, died Sunday, September 11, 2011 at Chester Regional Nursing Center.The funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, September 14, 2011 at Orr?s Baptist Church with Rev. Randall Runion officiating.Inerment will follow in Chester Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 10:00 ? 10:45 AM on Wednesday at Orr?s Baptist Church. Mr. Lindsey was born October 29, 1929 in Union, SC and was a son of the late Furman Lindsey and Bessie Godfrey Lindsey and widower of Lillian Lindsey He attended Chester County schools, served in the National Guard for eight years and was retired from Springs Industries.He was a member of Orr?s Baptist Church. He is survived by two daughters, Peggy Sue Poston and husband Ronald and Teresa Darlene Miller and husband, Richard both of Chester; three sons, Charles Furman Lindsey, James Harold Lindsey, and Frederick Millwood all of Chester; and a brother, Homer Lindsey of Chester.He was preceded in death by a sister, Mabel Lindsey.
