Lexington, SC Mr. Fred William Holmes, Jr, 55, of 362 Wildlife Road, Lexington died Saturday, July 18, 2009 at Lexington Medical Center. A graveside service will be held 2:00 PM Monday at Chester Memorial Gardens with Reverend John Porter officiating. Born June 19, 1954 in Lockhart, SC Mr. Holmes was a son of Fred William Holmes, Sr and Lillie Mae Childers Holmes.He attended the schools of Chester County and was retired from Mashburn Construction in Columbia, SC. Surviving in addition to his parents are one son, Eric Holmes of Chester; one daughter, Michele Holmes of Chester; one sister, Darlene Elkins of Chester and one brother, Dale Holmes of Richburg, SC.He was preceded in death by a sister, Teresa Kay Holmes. The family will receive friends from 1:00 ? 2:00 PM Monday at Barron Funeral Home, 133 Wylie Street, Chester.
