Fred Littlefield Tindall

CHESTER, SC: Mr. Fred Littlefield Tindall, 85, died Thursday, August 3, 2017 at his home. The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM Saturday, August 5, 2017 at the home.A graveside service will be held 2:00 PM Sunday, August 6, 2017 at Chester Memorial Gardens with Rev. Clay Waldrip officiating. Born November 13, 1931 in Inman, SC, Mr. Tindall was a son of the late Asa Warner Tindall and Faye Littlefield Tindall. He was a graduate of Inman High School, Wofford College and the University of South Carolina and was a member of the SC Army National Guard.Early in his career Mr. Tindall was employed with Inman Mills Ramey Plant, for over thirty-two years, where for many of those years he was plant manager.After retiring as plant manager, Mr. Tindall made his home in Edisto Beach where he was a Real Estate Agent for many years.He was a member of First Baptist Church of Chester where he served as former Sunday School Teacher.Mr. Tindall was a former member of Edisto Baptist Church, Edisto Beach, SC, where he was former Chairman of the Deacons and a choir member. He is survived by his wife, Carole Cantrell Tindall of over sixty-two years; two sons, Skip Tindall (Tink) of Chester, SC and Eddie Tindall (Denise) of Shreveport, LA; one daughter, Laura T. Hinson (Dale) of Chester, SC; six grandchildren, Jennifer Davis, Sonny Tindall, Candice Gilliland, Rhonda Kelsey, Asa Tindall and Jake Tindall; three great grandchildren, Fred Gilliland, Edy Pat Kelsey and Wilkes Kelsey.Mr. Tindall was preceded in death by a brother, A.
