Carlisle Mr. Franklin Mallory “Wild Bill” Dixon, 74, died Sunday, April 28, 2019, at his home.A graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday, May 2, at Hillside Cemetery in Chester with Rev. James Sanders officiating. Mr. Dixon was born May 21, 1944 in Lando, SC and was a son of the late Carl Dixon and Helen Kee Dixon.He attended the schools of Chester County and was a self-employed handyman with many talents.Mr. Dixon was of the Baptist faith. He is survived by one son, John Dixon of Chester; two sisters, Diane of Rock Hill and Carol Lanier of Lando.Mr. Dixon was preceded in death by a son, Franklin Mallory Dixon, Jr. Memorials may be made to First Free Will Baptist Church, P.O.
