Frank Winfred Traylor

Blackstock, SC:Frank Winfred Traylor, 83, died Saturday, June 16, 2012 at his home. A funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, June 19, 2012 at First Baptist Church, Blackstock with Reverend Buzzy Elder officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends anytime at the home, 2341 Columbia Highway, Blackstock, SC 29014. Pallbearers will be Ralph Love, Buddy Peay, Jim Wishert, Nate Wylie, Larry Hyatt, Kevin Hyatt and Gary Wilson. Mr. Traylor was born in Chester County on March 31, 1929. He was a son of the late Conrad M. Traylor and Eva Holder Traylor. He was a graduate of Blackstock High School and a veteran of the U.S. Navy having served during the Korean Conflict. Mr. Traylor was retired from Duke Power as a supervisor and was a member of First Baptist Church, Blackstock. He was also a member of Young Farmers and co-founder of Blackstock Bluegrass. Mr. Traylor is survived by his wife of thirty-one years, Beth Trammell Traylor; one daughter, Frannie Traylor Dodds (Steve) of Chester, SC; two sons, Tim “Bill” Traylor of Blackstock, SC and Toby Traylor of Chester, SC; four grandchildren, Stephanie Bishop of Blackstock, SC, Eva Poston of Chester, SC, Mike Dodds of Winnsboro, SC and Megan Traylor of Chester, SC;four great-grandchildren, Landon and Braedon Bishop of Blackstock, SC Mallory Poston and Hayden Donaldson of Chester, SC; one sister, Connie T. Gwin of Blackstock, SC and one brother, Paul Traylor of Macon, GA. He is preceded in death by two brothers, Dewey and Mack Traylor.
