Francis M. (Boot) Turner diedSaturday June 13, 2009 at his home. He was 79. Funeral Services will be 2:00pm Tuesday at Union A.R.P. Church with Rev. Allen Derrick, Rev. Della Hunsucker, and Rev. Stephen Kingofficiating.Intermentwill be in El Bethel United Methodist Church Cemetery. He was born in Fort Lawn, SC, the son of the late Clara Roddey and Carl B. Turner Sr.He retired from Chester County Solid Waste and was also a retired farmer. He was a graduate ofFort Lawn High School. He was a lifelong member El Bethel Methodist Church. Surviving are his wife Abbie Kee Turner of the home, Sons- Ronald M. and Louise A. Turner of Fort Lawn, Dwight R. and Terasa D. Turner of Fort Lawn, Sisters- Ann T. Neely and Grace Williams of Rock Hill, a Grand daughterMelissa L. Turner of Fort Lawn. He was preceded in death by a daughter Tammy Frances Turner. The family will receive friends from 6:00- 8:00 PM Monday at Barron Funeral Home 133 Wylie Street Chester SC.
