CHESTER?.Mrs. Frances Lathan Ramey, 77, of Chester died Tuesday, January 26, 2010, at her residence. A graveside service will be held at 4:00PM, Thursday January 28, 2010, at Chester Memorial Gardens with Rev. John Porter officiating Mrs. Ramey was born in Great Falls, SC, on February 22, 1932, a daughter of the late George R. and Martha Morgan Lathan. She was formerly employed with Eureka and was a member of First Church of the Nazarene. Surviving are one grand daughter and caregiver Christel Lewis of Chester, two Grandsons Brian Lewis and Davie Peeples, six great grandchildren, one son Philip Ramey, one daughter Marlene Peeples, two sisters and two brothers.
