Union, SC Mrs. Frances Estelle Gregory, 79, died Monday, December 16, 2019, in Rock Hill.Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, December 19, 2019, at Wilksburg Baptist Church with Rev. Seth Johnson and Rev. Skeet Thomas officiating.Interment will follow in the church cemetery.The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Thursday at Wilksburg Baptist Church. Mrs. Gregory was born February 20, 1940 in Chester, SC and was a daughter of the late Otis Gregory and Josie Melton Gregory.She was a graduate of Chester High School Class of 1959 and was retired from Milliken Industries.Mrs. Gregory was a member of Wilksburg Baptist Church where she sang in the choir and taught Sunday School. She is survived by one daughter, Debbie Campbell (Buzzy) of Myrtle Beach; three sons, Johnny Gregory of Union, Derrick Gregory (Sissy) of Union and Allan Gregory (Suzanne) of Chester; six grandchildren, Travis, Brittany, Meagan, Michael, Cody and Mari Grace; eleven great grandchildren; one sister, Mary Henderson (Albert) of Chester; and numerous nieces and nephews.Mrs. Gregory was preceded in death by her husband, Bolden “Buddy” Gregory; a grandson, “Little Doug” Love; daughter-in-law, Barbara Gregory; two brothers, R.M. Melton and David Gregory; and one sister, Doris Ferrell. Memorials may be made to Wilksburg Baptist Church, 3137 Pinckney Rd., Chester, SC 29706.
