Frances Mcfadden Cone

Pawleys Island, SC:Frances “Babe” McFadden Cone, 74, died Friday, January 4, 2013, at Wellstar Kennestone Hospital in Marietta, GA.A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, January 15, 2013, in Evergreen Cemetery, Chester, SC. The family will receive friends immediately following the service. Mrs. Cone was born in Chester, SC, on October 20, 1938. She was the only daughter of the late Joseph Means McFadden and Francis Graham McFadden. She was a graduate of Dreher High School and the University of South Carolina in Columbia, SC, and was retired from ING as a systems analyst. Mrs. Cone was a member of Holy Cross Faith Memorial Episcopal Church at Pawleys Island, SC, and of the Daughters of the King. She was also an active alumni member of Alpha Delta Pi, an avid animal lover and Gamecocks fan, and a passionate environmentalist. Mrs. Cone is survived by one daughter, Deborah Cone Craytor and her husband Jay and two granddaughters, Heather and Chelsea Craytor, allof Kennesaw, GA.She is also survived by her “Tribe of Five”:Bronwyn, Midnight, Moonlight, Josie, and Cocoa.
