Lancaster Mrs. Frances Carter Brunet, 80, died Thursday, January 1, 2015, at Lancaster Convalescent Center.A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, January 3, 2015, at Chester Memorial Gardens with Rev. Keith Hinson officiating.The family will receive friends at the cemetery immediately following the service. Mrs. Brunet was born October 6, 1934 in Union, SC and was a daughter of the late Elam Carter and Veatrice Allman Carter.She was a graduate of Lockhart High School and was retired from Springs Industries.She also worked with Senior Services as a senior companion.Mrs. Brunet was a member of First Freewill Baptist Church where she was a Sunday School teacher, choir member, and led the Women’s Ministry. She is survived by one daughter, Sheila B. Nichols (Jim) of Chester; one son, Victor Brunet (JoAnne) of Chester; three grandsons, Jonathan Brunet (Allison), Brad Brunet (Michelle), and Tripp Nichols all of Chester; two step-grandchildren, Tommy Pettus (Mary) of Clover and Scott Pettus of Chester; and four great-grandsons, Cole, Evan, Christian, and Ashton Brunet.Mrs. Brunet was preceded in death by her husband, A.V.
