CHESTER Mrs. Frances Elaine Boyd, 65, died Sunday, July 29, 20212 at her residence.A graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 1, 2012 at Pleasant Grove Presbyterian Church Cemetery with Dr. Ed Melvin officiating.The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 pm Tuesday at Barron Funeral Home. Born March 23, 1947 in Columbia, SC, Mrs. Boyd was the daughter of the late William Frank Campbell and Frances Alice Young Campbell.She was a graduate of Eau Claire High School and attended Piedmont Technical College.She was formerly employed with McIntire Trucking and York Transportation as a truck driver.She was a member of Pleasant Grove Presbyterian Church. She is survived by her husband of nineteen years, Craig Boyd; two daughters, Susan Renea Waters and Penny Sue Pearson both of Chester; eight grandchildren, Joey Medlin of the home, Tre Waters, Avie Pearson and Thomas Pearson all of Chester, Milton Goodine of Kentucky, Jimmie Goodine of Orlando, FL, and Harmony Goodine of Aiken, SC; four great grandchildren; three brothers, Bobby Campbell of Cassatt, SC, Paul Campbell of Lockhart, SC and Gene Campbell of Washington State, two sisters, Barbara Turbeville of Santee, SC and Linda Williams of Washington State.
