Florence Mitchell Pearson Faulk Culp

FlorenceMitchellPearsonFaulkCulp, 91, died Wednesday July 29, 2020 in Harris-burg, North Carolina. Florence was born September 17, 1928 in Edgemoor,South Carolina to G. F. and Ethel Mitchell. She was one of 10 siblings of which three are surviving; Annie Nun-nery, Rosa Senn, and James Mitchell. Florence was married to and widowed by Charles Pearson, Russell “Buddy” Faulk and Charles Culp . She was also preceded in death by her daughter Cindy Mills. Mrs. Culp is survived by her sonWarren Pearson and four stepchildren; VernelleDa-vis, Ricky, Reid and Robbie Culp, 14 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Florence attended Montreat Anderson College and graduated from Erskine College. She was a kindergarten director and public school kindergarten teacher for 43 years. Throughout her life Florence was a committed Christian, actively serving churches as a Bible study teacher, a member of key committees, a childrens teacher and many oth-er areas.She enjoyed her family, friends, traveling, dancing, teaching, tutoring children and lived life to its fullest.Florence was a joyful, caring, giving, loving person who en-couraged all who knew her. A graveside service will be held 11:00 AM August 22, 2020 at Edgemoor ARP Church Cemetery and a Memorial Service 2:00 August 23 at University Hills Baptist Church, Charlotte, North Carolina.
