Faye Broadwell Epting

Mrs. Faye Broadwell Epting, 96, formerly of Richburg, SC, died June 14, 2016 at Harbor Chase in Rock Hill.The funeral servicewill be at 11:00 AM Thursday, June 16, 2016 at Sharon Memorial Park Mausoleum in Charlotte, NC with entombment to follow.The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the home of Jack Broadwell. Born August 16, 1919 in Greenwood, SC, Mrs. Epting was a daughter of the late James Marvin Broadwell and Marie Seigler Broadwell. Mrs. Epting was the widow of Alva Frank Epting. She was a 1937 graduate of Pineville High School in Pineville, NC and Carolina Business School in Charlotte, NC.Faye and her husband Frank owned Epting Appliance Company in Charlotte for over twenty years and they also owned Rainbow Farms in Chester County, breeding and showing American Saddlebred horses. She was a member of the Pilot Club of Chester. She was retired from Campbell and Associates in Chester, SC as an accountant. She is survived by one brother, Jack Broadwell (Martha) of Mint Hill, NC; one sister, Marvin B. Fisher of Charlotte, NC; niece, Vickie Manning (Billy) of Chester, SC and numerous beloved nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great nephews.She was preceded in death by three sisters, Kathleen B. Campbell, Dorothy B. Edwards and Dessie B. Gilbert. Memorials may be made the Chester Friends of the Animals, PO Box 58, Chester, SC 29706.
