Chester, SC: Evelyn Lucille Boatwright Wallen, 89, died Sunday, September 28, 2014 at her home. A Memorial Service will be held 3:00 PM Thursday, October 2, 2014 at Word and Spirit Ministries with Bishop David Levister officiating. Interment will be private. Mrs. Wallen was born in Mecklenburg County, NC on June 6, 1925 and was a daughter of the late David Boatwright and Nora McCarva Boatwright and the widow of Geroge Wallen.She attended the schools of Fort Mill, SC and was a homemaker. Mrs. Wallen is survived by three grandchildren, Evelyn Lathrop, Thomas Wade and John Wade all of Chester, SC; six great-grandchildren and six great- great grandchildren and was preceded in death by a daughter, Daisy Wade.
