CHESTER Mrs. Esther Poston Henson, went home to be with the Lord Sunday, July 8, 2012 at her residence.The funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 11, 2012 at Orrs Baptist Church with Rev. Randall Runion and Rev. Joey Shetley officiating.The interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery.The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 7:30 pm. Tuesday at Barron Funeral Home. Born in Kershaw, SC, Mrs. Henson was the daughter of the late Yance and Dessie Outen Poston.She attended the schools of Kershaw County and worked with Springs Industries for over thirty years as a smash hand and also worked with Bi-Lo.She enjoyed sewing and gardening.Mrs. Henson was a member of Orrs Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband of over sixty-four years, Lensie W. Henson; three sons, Billy Poston of Chester, Jerry Burleyson of Murfreesboro, TN and Steve Henson and his wife Debi of Chester, SC; a daughter, Brenda Lewis of Winnsboro, SC; twelve grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter.She was preceded in death by two brothers, Howard Poston and Toy Poston.
