Esther Shirley Love Cameron

Chester Mrs. Esther Shirley Love Cameron, 86, died Sunday, November 26, 2023, at her home. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, November 30, 2023, at First Baptist Church Lowrys with Rev. David Nalley and Rev. Michael Shaffer officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the church. Interment will be private. Mrs. Cameron was born October 2, 1937 and was a daughter of the late Malcolm Marion Love and Mary Jeanette Doster Love. She was a graduate of Chester High School Class of 1956 and was retired from Spring Industries Eureka Plant in 1997. Esther was a member of First Baptist Church Lowrys where she kept the nursery and was a member of the Hostess Committee and the SYAH Team. She was a member of the Fidelis Sunday School Class and worked with Vacation Bible School. She is survived by one son, Marion Leon Cameron of Chester; a nephew, Derrick Scott Love of Rock Hill; numerous other nieces and nephews; and Haley Breanna Polk whom she loved as her own granddaughter. In addition to her parents, Esther was preceded in death by her husband of over 21 years, Lawrence Andrew Cameron; a son, Charles Edward Cameron; four brothers and one sister. Esther was the last of six siblings.
