Eric Scott Sane

Eric Scott Sane II, "Scottie", 30, passed away at his home on April 13, 2024. Visitation will be Wednesday, April 17, 2024 from 10:00 am-12:00 pm at Woodward Baptist Church. Funeral service will follow at 12:30 pm, with Pastor Keith Hinson officiating. Interment will be at the Woodward Baptist Church Cemetery. Born December 3, 1993 in Lancaster County, Scottie was the son of Scott Sane & Connie Going. He attended Chester County schools. Scottie was a jack-of-all-trades, tinkering in auto mechanics, roofing, and carpentry, which he learned from his uncles. If he didn't know how to fix something, he would research until he found a solution. Scottie never met a stranger, and everyone found a friend in him. His heart was bigger than this world could handle. Scottie loved everyone, and everyone loved him. Even through his pain, he always wore a smile, and was the life of the party! Scottie enjoyed writing music, mud-riding, joking around, tattoos, being an adrenaline junkie, but most of all, his 3 beautiful children! Scottie is survived by his sons, Braxten Sane & Trysten Sane; daughter, Audreigh McMurray-Catoe, all of Chester, and wife, Ashley McMurray of York; parents, Connie Going of Chester, Scott & Amanda Sane of Lancaster; grandmother, Mildred Going of Chester; sisters, Chelsea-Rae Sane of Lancaster, and Caitlyn Sane of Chester; bonus brothers, Avery & Austin (Ariel) Snipes, both of Lancaster; nephews, Brody & Hartt Langley, both of Lancaster; and a multitude of aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and friends. Scottie is preceded in death by his grandmother, Mary Daniels, and grandfather, Bill Going.
