Clinton, SC:Emory Jamieson ?Pug? Hollis, 90, died Monday April 16, 2012 at Presbyterian Community in Clinton, SC. A graveside service will be held 3:00 PM Friday, April 20, 2012 at Union Cemetery, Richburg, SC with Dr. Dwight Pearson and Dr. Dan Holloway officiating.The family will receive friends immediately following the service in the fellowship hall of the church. Mr. Hollis was born in Chester County on January 5, 1922. He was a son of the late John Simpson Hollis and Maude McWaters Hollis. Mr. Hollis was a graduate of Chester High School and Clemson University. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force having served during World War II, was retired from Springs Industries as manager of the White Plant and was a member of Unity Presbyterian Church in Fort Mill, SC and a former member of Chester Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church where he served as Sunday School Superintendant. Mr. Hollis is survived by his wife of over sixty-three years Dorothy DuBose Hollis, a resident of the Clinton Presbyterian Community in Clinton, SC; three daughters, Cindy Hollis Epps and her husband Chuck of Fort Mill, SC, Lyssa Hollis Youngblood and her husband Bob of Lawrenceville, GA and Terry Hollis Gladden and her husband Bill of Richburg, SC; seven grandchildren, Ashley Epps, Lauren Epps Kaskowicz, Will Youngblood, Caitlyn Youngblood, Blake Thomas, Wade Thomas and Hollis Thomas McIntosh and five great grandchildren.
