Chester Mrs. Ellen Keenan Revels, 90, died Friday, October 10, 2014, at Chester Regional Nursing Center.A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, October 13, 2014 at Evergreen Cemetery with Rev. Clay Waldrip officiating, The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the graveside. Mrs. Revels was born October 7, 1924 in Chester County, SC and was a daughter of the late Joseph C. Keenan and Macie McGarity Keenan.She was a graduate of Oakley Hall High School and was retired from Springs Industries.Mrs. Revels was a member of First Baptist Church of Chester where she was a choir member.She was a devoted Christian lady who enjoyed working with children and she was an exceptional care provider for her family. She is survived by two nephews, Bobby Lancaster (Cindy) of Tennessee and Joe Kennan (Debbie) of Lancaster; three nieces, Clair Payne (David) of Atlantic Beach, NC, Janice Walker (Lo) of Charlotte, NC, and Cindy Phifer (Tollie) of Chester.Mrs. Revels was preceded in death by her husband, Roy.
